After months of research on agritourism farms around the country and a customer survey earlier this year, we have decided to switch to a General Admission pricing structure. The new General Admission includes admission to the “Back 40” and a Hayride Fun For The Whole Family! The “Back 40” Entertainment Area Some Customer Feedback: "We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and thank you for bringing such fun and enjoyment to our area in the fall. It is tradition for me and my granddaughters to come and go through the maze and pick out a pumpkin. Also play the games but what I think they like the best is the corn kernel box. They love rolling in it and coming out with corn in their pockets and other places. Thanks again and we wish you a prosperous New Year!!!" D. Bowers The 2009 corn maze at Oakes Farm was a celebration of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The park was dedicated 75 years ago this year. The Great Smoky Mountains are a wonderful beauty to have in our 'back yard". Just an hour away from the farm. For information on visitn the park, go to http://www.nps.gov/grsm/index.htm. If you would like to visit the park consider staying in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or Townsend Tennessee. 2009 was a great year at the farm.
