How to get to the fun...

1. Take the Knoxville Center exit (Exit 8) off I-640.
2. Go north on Washington Pike 10 miles.
3. Turn left onto Corryton Road, go 2.3 miles, and the farm is on the right.

Or take I-40 to the Rutledge Pike exit (Exit 392)

1. Go right (north) 8 miles and turn left onto Roberts Road.
2. The 2nd stop sign is Washington Pike.
3. Turn right and go 3 miles.
4. Turn left onto Corryton Road, go 2.3 miles, and the farm is on the right.

We offer a full line of concessions, from hamburgers, hot dogs and fries to fried Twinkies and ice cream. Plenty of seating available.

Tips for a Great Time!

The best trips are those that are made with just a little bit of planning ahead. Here are some things you should consider before you embark on your Oakes Farm adventure:

• Bring or wear comfortable shoes – this is a place where kids of all ages play, and there are lots of good places to enjoy walking. If it has rained recently, or if rain is in the forecast, you may want to bring boots … farms can get a little muddy.
• If you are sensitive to the sun, it’s always a good idea to bring some sunscreen. We prefer that you take home a pumpkin and some good photos – not a sunburn!
• Money … but, you won’t need a lot. There’s a small Admissions Fee, and there are opportunities to buy snacks and fall decorations. We also accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
• Insect Repellent – always a good idea when you’re going to spend a lot of time outside. We don’t have a lot of insects, but all farms and outdoor recreation areas share their environment with some insects.
• Your camera, and perhaps a camcorder. Oakes Farm is a very beautiful place, if we do say so ourselves, and you’ll treasure your memories even more if you take some good photos and videos of you and the kids.
